The Texas Sportsbook Coalition seeks to support responsible legislation that will legalize sportsbook betting in the state and keep Texas money in Texas. According to several reports, close to $3 billion a year is being spent in our three neighboring states’ casinos. The fees and taxes on this money could be going towards many social benefits in this state including; public education, school safety, disaster relief, and child welfare. We could also be creating thousands of new jobs in our cities that desperately need them.
